Going Around Asia

Family Time at Singapore

Now this post is long overdue due to my stupidity. I kinda copied the images to my wife’s Laptop and erased my copy.

Well this happened last year when the whole family had our Christmas at Singapore. It’s true that Christmas is more loving and happier when the whole family is complete.

As promise, one of the activities we did was to go to Sentosa Island and ride at the Luge and Skyride.

Safety first! We all got our head gear and put on our eager face. Then were off! We all got our own luge to ride on. Dianne and Diether was so excited to hop in a get going. I know they can handle themselves. But I was a bit worried for my youngest. I know he can manage to ride one, but what worries me was it was a downhill ride.

I was right! It was a race for me to catch up with him. Swerving everyone in my way as he was not using his brakes to slow down. I would hear local and foreigner saying, “Look how that kid go!” as I pass them. It was about only a few meters till to the last turn when I caught up with him. To guide him how to exit.

Though he was scared he still wants to go for it. So we went up and ride the second time but this time his sitting at my lap.

Though the line for the Skyride was jam-packed. The line move faster than expected. While waiting for our turn, we already planned pout who will be riding with whom. Though one ride can accommodate  4 individual, we don’t want one be riding alone.

So we decided that Diether will be riding with me, while Dianne and Renz with their mother.

Here as you can see. That Renz is really trying hard not to open his eyes. While her mother is teasing him by taking the above shot, and Dianne is actually covering her fright with a beautiful smile.

Trust me. When they alight, her legs were shaking.

But on this picture they all gave me a big smile. It was a really great ride. Our kids experienced a lot on this trip.

After this we went for a our first 3D experience called the Extreme Log Ride.
